It all started when my mom gave me a camera for my 12th birthday. Photography was my first love, and it has stayed that way from middle school, all the way through college & photo school.
Growing up, my mom always had a camera in her hand. Film, digital, camcorder, you name it. It was instilled in me from very young that if you want a moment to last forever, you should photograph it.
When my mom gifted me a camera for my birthday many years ago, it felt like a passing of the torch. It's my job to capture important moments now, I thought. And that's exactly what I've been doing since. For my friends, family members, and now, you (hopefully).
Film, black & white, Mad Men, anything made by Vince Gilligan, My Chemical Romance, documentaries, cooking, desserts, travel, my family, partner, & dog.
Seafood, country music, influencers, drinking, being rude to service workers, blurry photos, cold weather, unflattering lighting, bigotry.
Quality over quantity, grass is green not gold (true to color editing, always), every moment counts.

My family photo albums are full of seemingly mundane moments, like these pictured. And yet, I find myself constantly wanting to go back and revisit them. This is because these moments are anything but mundane; these were precious times, spent with my family and friends, all lovingly documented by my favorite photographer, my mom.
I want to be able to fill your family photo albums with equally important yet perfectly mundane moments. Moments you don't think twice about as they're unfolding in front of you, but you'll find yourself returning to time and time again.
Like most folks, chances are this is your first time in front of a (professional) camera. My relaxed approach helps every couple feel natural and confident, resulting in photos that truly reflect who you are. Instead of asking you to pose awkwardly, I'll encourage you to interact with each other. When you're focused on each other instead of me, that's where the real magic happens.
Understanding my couples' personalities plays a big part in creating beautiful wedding images. I truly enjoy getting to know every single person I work with, as it helps inform how someone should be photographed. The goal is always a true representation of you and your partner; photos that feel like you.
While I love documentary-style photography, I also bring a photo- school-trained artistic eye to create unique, stunning portraits and detail shots. Utilizing creative compositions and beautiful lighting, I'll ensure your wedding photos are as one of a kind as your relationship.
