GETTING READY: I recommend two photographers for this portion if you're getting ready in two separate places or want full coverage of both of you in the beginning of the day. If you only have one shooter, I recommend more time to capture both of you. If theres a 2nd shooter, we can divide and conquer.
CEREMONY: While calculating coverage needed, apply the duration of your individual ceremony (as the time differs from wedding to wedding).
FAMILY PHOTOS: I recommend 2 minutes per group photo, with an average of about 20 photos, which would be about 40 minutes. If you need more family photos, allot more time accordingly. You can always create a 2nd list incase we get through the first list of photos and have left over time, but your "must have" family photos should all be counted for accordingly during the family photos part of the day.
COCKTAIL HOUR: If you do a first look before the ceremony that means you most likely also did your group/family shots prior to the ceremony. So enjoy cocktail hour! If you opt out of a first look and the first time you see each other is at the ceremony, all your couples' solo photos will have to be compressed into the cocktail hour. You will likely miss at least half of cocktail hour.
RECEPTION: The duration of needed reception coverage is different with each wedding. It is "standard" to end coverage shortly after all formalities are complete.
If theres any commute time during the day do not forget to add this in to the coverage needed!
